The fan on my computer is coming on ALL the time and it's driving me mad. Is there something wrong with it? and if it is overheating would it shut itself down before it did any permanent damage?
Also is there anything I can do to stop it over heating? thanks

It is always a good idea to take the cover off now and again and to give the inside of your computer a good "spring clean" - removing as much dust as possible - it's amazing how much dust collects inside - especially around the fan.

good idea Pixi, all I do is waste my life talking to sarky, cheeky gits on it anyway! lol

When my computer starts to make funny noises i just turn my music up louder hehe.

If I can't hear the problem, it's not there! lol
