Wrist Pain

i have a really bad pain in the top side of my wrist its worse when i move my thumb i haven't fallen or banged it ,could it be arthritis ?

That would be my guess because I get it too. Quite a burning pain. It does come and go if that helps.

Could be many things, but you, being a middle aged woman ( at least) I would guess that it is tendonitis and a particular one called De Quervain's Tendonosis.......Google it.

Yes it is also associated with arthritis but not necessarily so.
