I've only occasionally had problems posting Youtube videos in the past but it doesn't seem to be working presently - the above video will either show that statement to be true or disprove it.

This is that link included in the text

Apologies for the poor English but a Youtube link seems to work as part of the text but not in the "Enter Youtube Link Here..." box.
Well all that seems to work, very impressive embedding

I have been having problems with posting YouTube links.

The links that YouTube generate from the share button in their app from phones and Tablets do not work in the AB YouTube box.

For example, the link for the AB video is

http://youtu.be/KhBgAzlOt6E

But that posted in the box does not work.

If I want to post a link, I have to do a Google search for the video to find the desktop url which works.
Gromit:
AB's server needs to see 'youtube.com' in the URL. (The links generated by the 'share' button have the format 'youtu.be').

You need to copy the URL of the Youtube page. How you do that will depend upon which browser you're using; this suggests a method for Opera Mini:

iOS8 does not let you open YouTube in the Safari Browser. They open in the app. Even if I type in the browser url space, the app opens.

As I say, the only way around this if you have a video to post on AB is to do a search for it. In the search result will be the desktop url which I can then copy and paste.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhBgAzlOt6E

I then usually have to manually type the https:// bit.

Until iOS7, the YouTube app written by Apple generated the correct url. It was when Google rewrote the app that it stopped working properly (no surprise there then).

I'd forgotten about this and should have added that my problem seems to only be with PaleMoon, which is the 64-bit variant of Firefox that I use as default browser, since everything works ok in 32-bit Firefox, 32-bit Opera and Waterfox (another Firefox 64-bit variant).
