you ready to go nuclear, are you?

Why do you think we should contribute at all.
The problem is a French one which as usual they are proving to be totally incapable of dealing with. there Government signed up to the Schengen Agreement allowing free access to these parasites and now they are there in large numbers the French Authorities can't or won't deal with them.

Their Government ^^^^^^ not there!!!!!!

Ok, let's have another go if that wasn't what you meant.

If what the PM has done so far is a load of bull ***, what to you want him to do to get the Transportation moving again, bearing in mind the root of the problem is in another Country over which he has no jurisdiction?
And remember I live in Kent, I'm affected by this, to be honest it's difficult to even hot 70 at the moment!
My dad a truck driver was stuck in operation stack for 18 hours (being paid to sit in truck and watch tv and sleep). He was recalled with load and never made trip to France. He spoke to the police and they were as happy as Larry being on overtime he said :-)
The downside was the for the foreign trucks who were losing money and vowing not to do haulage to the uk until, this was all sorted.
Just as well we don't import much ...oh hang on

France, apparently.
So if you ruled the world what would you do about it? i can't see a solution at the moment and I doubt neither could any Govt, Dave's, Ed's, anybody's.
Nobody seems able or willing, todo anything about it. It's all getting worse, but hey, fear not, our spineless leader will hold, yet another, emergency COBRA meeting to discuss the matter. More fences ? Hah ! Yes, because they've been soooo effective so far so let's have more of the useless things.
Electric fences - with a suitable warning in numerous languages, of course!

They sniff hiding people out.
Saw the obvious answer in note from my Sil who said, UK used to own/occupy the Calais area so why don't we just take it back!! :-))
