Broadband Very Slow On One Device
4 Answers
I have super fast broadband which is working well on all my devices including pcs, tablets and smartphones.
My faithful netbook, Samsung N210 is struggling to get 5Mbps. I have checked for driver updates and it says it is fully up to date.
The network card is a Realtek RTL8192E. Strangely the upload speed is above 10Mbps.
Any idea why this happening and is there a fix?

I've often found that slow (or non- existent) wi-fi connections can be fixed by resetting the TCP/IP stack: https:// support. microsoft. com/ en- us/ kb/ 299357
