Only hear fan

I have a tower HP computer. When i switch it on all i get is a loud fan noise and no display on monitor. I have to switch it off by removing the power supply.Iv tried bootup off a disc, no difference...

PC Start up probs

Hi guys, for some reason, my main desktop PC will not boot up. I switch it on, it freezes at first screen and will not allow me to log onto windows, push f1 or f10 or esc or anything. Any ideas?
