Is there a general rule or law on how many spaces to use after a full stop in general word processing? Its been so long since I did my typing exams that I can't remember how many I was taught to use...

ITV Rebus last night

Any other Rebus fans seriously disappointed by last night's Rebus? I always thought Ken Stott would make a good Rebus and as a TV drama it was very good, but seemed to bear no relation to the book it...
