Ants

How do i get rid of ants in my kitchen? I have tried ant baits and powder insectiside and a spray which you directly spray onto the ants but nothing seems to be working!!! - HELP!!!!

can anyone tell me which is the best paint to use on melamine board and whether or not I need to use an undercoat or primer first? I have a melamine board in my bathroom and would like to paint it but...
