Copying dvds.

I have Windows xp and Nero, and have tried to copy a pirate dvd but the burn process failed.(several times) Is it possible to do this (I have a dvdr/rw and a dvd rom) or am I wasting my time.

When you buy a pre-recorded dvd it plays on any player.Why is it ,if you copy it onto a DVD+ blank for instance,it won't play on certain dvd players and has to be copied to a dvd- blank? If you make a...
