Re-entering VW Golf Radio Code??

I have the code but cant seem to get the numbers to save.... I keep pressing dthe ASL button but it then goes back into safe mode - any ideas? Cheers!!!...

If I have got D1E on my licence does that mean I can drive 7.5 tonne horsebox?

I always thought I could, I have been on the rubbish DVLA website and its all in Kilogrammes!!! If anyone knows - appreciate it!! Cheers...
