Delerting user name from Sign In page

I don't particularly want any of my family knowing my user name on AB, as they could review what I have said. The computer is set so I have to sign in everytime, but the sign in page has my user name...

Preparing for cataract surgery

Has anyone been told they could not wear contacts for at least a week before being measured for cataract surgery and several weeks before the surgery? why would this make a difference?
