Will my DVD Player play Region 1 DVD's?

I have a PHILIPS DVP3020 DVD Player does anyone know if it will play Region 1 DVD's?

Mk 3 Mondeo (water leak) 2002

Have noticed that i get a bit of moisture into the passengers side footwell of the car.Took up the footwell carpet and it looks like its coming from the top right of the footwell .Do these cars suffer...

cd -rewriter burns cd-rws only

my cd -rewriter burns cd-rws but not cd-rs - what has happened? (ive done lower speeds to no avail and ive used the cd-r discs before many times) i am using nero . thanks
