clio bonnet catch

i have just received a letter from Renault about my bonnet catch to bring it in to be corrected i know from the press that the problem is there but i am just wondering if anyone else has received one.

I have just been quoted near ?400 for a new head gasket. That includes ?160 for parts + 250 for labour - I believe that's 4/5 hours? Anyway I just want to know if anyone can confirm if they know if...
