Weight limits HGV's

If the tractor unit is a 44 tonnes gross weight and the trailer's 36 tonnes gross weight what is the maximum gross train weight, my managers says its 41 tonnes is this correct? i thinkit is 36 tonnes.

Wearing an ankle chain on the right leg what does this really mean? Surely it's just a fashion statement / thing now?

Unit & Trailers

This question appears to have several people baffled. The tractor unit is plated for 44 tonnes; i.e. it gross train weight, It does not weigh 44 tonnes. The trailer is plated for 36 tonnes. Our boss...
