I know that canada still keeps an offical exicutioner on payroll even though the penalty of death has been abolished, the position has not. If aqnyone can corroborate this please do and if so can you...

Does Canada still employ an executioner

in canada capital punishment was abollished in the 1970s. since such time i have heard the government still pays and retains a person with the title of Executioner. I would like confirmation of this...
