turn off network discovery

i cant switch it off because it only appears very faint like a hidden file. any advice? thanks

can someone help me turn my "Network discovery off" when it only appears very faint. Has someone blocked me, im certain someone has access while im on line.

mini card adapter

ive just found a mini card wireless adapter 802.11g that was enabled in my devices. can someone tell me where it would be. theres also a microsoft 6to 4 adapter. any idea what that is

ok . ive opened th comp page. it has . organize.views.system properties.uninstall and map network. i cant see tools bar. many thanks for patients
