Purchased a 1987 Polo CL saloon 1.3cc it has been parked up since 2002 and has only 50K on clock. Starts,Runs well but will not tick over. I have been informed this is a common fault but could anyone...

Give me a rev counter

my 1993 polo cl has no rev counter iv seen other 1's with them. where do i get 1 and how do i fit it? also any ideas on how 2 make the car faster would be gratefully recieved. (sensible answers...
