mafia ps2 problem yellow pete

Playing the LAST mission Mafia (20) and every time i go to Yellow Pete's for weapon's he says "get away from here" i am going mad as can't get to kill Sam and complete - please help me

we have recently moved out to Greece with our 3/4 persian cat, he never used to yowl in the uk but now at 7.15 he is at it non stop. can anyone suggest a way of ceasing him, i try not to get up to...
