bad start vectra

have a vectra diesel, starting in the mornings is bad i have to spray easy start into the air filter pan before it starts does anyone know the problem and how to fix thanks

vectra bad start

have a R reg vectra diesel, bad starter in the mornings i have to use easy start to get it going when i eventually get it going a large cloud of smoke comes out of the exaust,any solutions thanks
