car insurance non claim but insurance company say claim!????

my son got his renewal quote in from his current insurer and the premium has doubled, the paperwork says he has made a claim in aug 2010, on contact with the company they confirm a claim has been made...

Car insurance for young men

My stepson is 21. He'll be going his driving licence soon. The insurance is horrendous!!!! Any ideas of which companies may give young men drivers better rates? TIA
