Best Before Dates on Lager

How long after the best before date can you still drink Lager. My mate at work has found 72 cans of Stella (don't know how you can just FIND that much lager) in his garage with BEST BEFORE...

Haven't even looked yet, but is changing a headlight bulb on a '99 Astra a garage job? I know you can simply put a rear one in, but I'm thinking re-alignment etc on the front?

Dogs

I want a dog, but I'm away from the flat (ground floor) every working day 8-6.  Would it be cruel? Somebody said RSPCA and Dogs Trust advise against it.

Waitrose, Sainsburys, Morrisons - none of them have even a single bottle of any variety of Branston Pickle.   Does anyone know when manufacture of this essential condiment will resume?
