Faulty fluorescent lights

How do you test a fluorescent light fitting for faults? My twin-bulbed fitting in my fish tank has stopped working and as both bulbs are not illuminating I am assuming the bulbs are ok. Have checked...

dry whole clementines for decoration? I saw these in a shop as part of pot-pourri, and it must be possible to do this at home. They have slits down the sides. Should I try a slow oven? microwave?...
