fan oven temperature

My Zanussi fan oven runs about 40-50 hotter than I select. I've measured it with a digital oven thermometer & note the temperature swing between on & off is about 29deg. Would a new thermostat...

Chanel nail colour....

have tried this...but do not find it to be any better than cheaper brands...it has thickened up very fast. Has anyone else found this to be the case?...and at ?11 I expect better.
