space for dishwasher

I have recently bought a new dishwasher to fit in the space between 2 kitchen cabinets. the dishwasher is 600mm wide and should fit in the gap ,but the joiner who fitted the kitchen has left the gap...

Smelly fridge

I have recently purchased a new hotpoint fridge and for the last couple of days I have traced a nasty smell in the kitchen to the back of the fridge . Can anyone tell me what might be causing this
