Defrosting Weaning Meals

If you puree vegetables for weaning babies, then freeze them, how should you defrost them? I am making everything from scratch and generally only make as much as i need each day but got carried away...

Laptop Screen Too Bright

My laptop screen is too bright. It's really starting to make it hard to work after the kids have gone to bed, any ideas how I can get it to turn down some?
