Convert .class file to playable format?

Some music sites (legal downloads) offer music files in the .class format... but how do I play them? I've tried simply renaming the file extension to mp3, this doesn't work. No media player can open...

I hate MTV Dance... they never clearly display which song is playing! The song in question was quite techno-y and had repeating lyrics of "everybody in the house ROCK ON". Any ideas?
