I have just spoken to the Daily Mail & they have assured me that the T & C's are NOT violated by the asking for, or the provision of, a number.
As long as ONE paper is purchased, that ONE number can be used by anybody, with the purchaser's permission.
Duncer - ...but why should we provide numbers to people who don't buy the paper, or seem not to?
There's no obligation here! As with all threads, these requests do not have to be opened & if AB'ers don't wish to proffer their unused numbers, they don't have to but they should not be censuring those of us that don't give a flying fig & are happy for the numbers to be used.
What really ticks me off is the fact that people are quite obviously hovering in the background, waiting for numbers to be posted & grabbing them. Invariably that means the OP will post again, incurring ire, wrath & general rattiness.
It's MY number, in MY paper, bought with MY money & I'll do with it as I please.
