Wednesday. Got to be away at eight. Get the running around done and be back here by 0930 to welcome the Lions, who are coming to sort out my garden for me. I've made a cherry and pineapple cake to sustain them. I'll cook something for lunch too. I don't know what yet. I don't know how many are coming.

I'm having some aggro with emails not arriving. I'll be onto Talktalk to see what is happening.

Apart from that all is peace and tranquility!

T'internet is not good around here. There is a particular BT junction box nearby that always seems to have a couple of wee men poking about inside. It's sited at the bottom of a hill, so I suspect it gets wet!

Morning David. Cherry and pineapple cake is a long standing favourite. The kitchen has always been my domain. Vera's was the garden, about which I know nuffink. That's why the Lions are coming to sort it out for me.

Same here boaty. My wife loves her garden. I do the grub. Sometimes a hit, other times not so. My worst failure was a Pilchard curry, it was awful, I had to bury it.
