Who are you

Some of the most popular threads on the AnswerBank are always those which ask for more details about individual members. Who do you look like . What job do you do . Where in the world do you live . And even what are your biggest regrets in life . The fact that the 34-26-38 female with flowing blonde hair may easily be a middle-aged milkman just in from his morning rounds does not appear to deter our insatiable curiosity. To add to our knowledge of AnswerBankers, this week Fingerprint asked, where do you stand politically . Admarlow made an interesting point in response: Right, and I feel as this country gets worse everyone will become more so.

A recent YouGuv poll taken over a week in August suggests that admarlow may be, well, right. Thirty-eight percent of respondents said they intend to vote Conservative at the next election compared to thirty-one percent who would vote Labour and a lagging eighteen percent that intend to vote Liberal Democrat. More worrying for the Labour government is the majority of respondents (64%) that disapprove of the governments record to date. How much this is due to personal attitudes towards Tony Blair or his controversial foreign policy is unclear, but more respondents would rather see David Cameron and the Conservatives take control of the government at the next election than a Labour government led by Gordon Brown.
