we went to a safari park in Disney's animal kingdom, several stone lions and I believe there was a real giraffe, couldn't contain my excitement!!

It finally warmed up a little and I had an hour outside. So weary tho' so it's a ding dinner for me.

Oh dear, one of hija's friends has been killed, no news on how yet and my best friend who now lives in Chile has phoned and has bladder cancer and is having her op tomorrow, she will always have to have a pee bag but she is very upbeat about it, she has already beaten breast cancer!

Oh dear hija"s friend was with her and others at a party all day yesterday and he died from drink and drugs. She was OK when she came home. I am jolly glad she's going to Dubai now.

HijA is shocked to the core. I mean they were all at the party but not all together, she didn't have a clue.

I mean she knows there were drugs but didn't know he was on them.

But only themselves to blame when it all goes wrong in my opinion, although I feel for the parents.

This island life is too hedonistic, I thought we were bad when younger but never any drugs involved. It is a mother's nightmare, but that could be said for anywhere.

Rab has spent the whole of the day guarding his fence hole. he trots in to eat, wags his tail and goes back out there. I called him in just before nine tonight and he is solid gone curled up in a chair.
