Hoping today brings relief for both of you - I’ve been watching your posts with interest since my dear Missie had a bout of pancreatitis just before Easter and spent two and a half days on a drip ( home at night ) My vet was right on the ball & suspected pancreatitis straightaway though she’d just stopped eating & was very flat, and luckily she responded very...

LOL. Yes the Jokerman is on tomorrow not today. Sigh!

Still waiting for the phone call. If they find something serious they have to phone and get my permission to carry out whatever they deem necessary. They haven't phoned so I guess all is good.
Still following your post, lb xx
I was wondering if there'd been any news today? ((lb)) x

Oh dear sorry for not updating. He went into hospital for, "Inappetence, sedation and ultrasound scan, tooth removal, intravenous fluid therapy, medical treatment". We collected him and his medication yesterday afternoon and were told the trouble was his pancreatitis.
Which was the opposite to what the vet before had told us!! Anyway, he's here, he's drinking OK, eating a little which was expected, whinging a lot today so booked a vets appointment for 5pm today. Once I did that he shut up and not a sound since. So I've cancelled it. His next pain med is due 9pm. I'm hoping this is not his life from now on and this flare up will soon fade and not become a regular occurrence. Thank you for caring. xx
Glad he's home anyway, LB. Maybe he'll be perkier tomorrow
For now though, you have your little chap home with you in an environment in which he feels safe, secure and loved. And long may that continue.
Thanks for letting us know, lb - I hope you both have a decent, restful night x
I hope that he settles down and the pain medication works.

So do I. It's horrible when this sort of thing happens. Thinking of you both.

Thank you all. He is quiet now after having had his third poo of the afternoon. Another symptom of his illness unfortunately but he's a good boy and goes and stands by the door when he needs to go out. xx
He's been though a lot this week, poor little chap. I hope he's now onthe mend.

Yes he has Tilly. It started last Saturday so a week of it now. More than enough.
Indeed!
Bless him. x
Aww! Give him lots of cuddles. Poor pooch deserves them x
Well, home, drinking, and being loved, also having pain medication . All positive. A quiet weekend for you both .
I second anne's thoughts, lb. Hope you and J have a peaceful weekend now. x
So pleased the little fella's going the right way. Thanks for keeping us posted. x
