What is the recovery period for a dog after being spade?

Depends on the age of the dog, the older the b*tch the longer they take to return to normal.

Some bounce back 24 hours later, others take a couple of days to recover. If there are any complications, like infection of the wound etc. it takes longer.

Most times you are advised to keep them quiet for a few days (lead walk them etc.).

Thats good - she will be about 9 months when we have her done so she should be back to normal soon I hope.

our staffie was about that and I expected her to be off colour for few days at least but from the moment she got back from the vets you would not have known she had been although I did not over do the walks just in case.
