I cried when I read through this thread. Poor little thing. You cannot let him go on like that. I know what it is like - it is very difficult but you must think of your little dog, not yourself.
oh looby that is one of the nicest gestures I've ever seen/read xx
heres his little corner of the garden :o)

Oh loooby, how lovely. You still have him with you.
that is one most beautiful sight looby I'm s sorry that it is a pretty view because of your loss

Pets do become family xx
You really must do this sooner rather than later. I was in the same situation a couple of years ago with my little chihuahua/yorkie. I felt so guilty after she'd gone for keeping her hanging on. The vet said she didn't have a good quality of life anymore............
bless him!............know how you must be feeling, we had the same problem to face just over a year ago with our lttle Ollie, it's the hardest decision to ever make, but you need think about his quality of life!.....so hard to deal with!........
aw ta alba and starbuck,
yeah we still have him.
we were going to put his ashes up there too, but we didnt like to think of him being out there in the cold and bad weather, so now he sits in a little wooden box, with a little brass message on it from my dad, in the warm, in the hall :o)
Loooby, very sad for you, but no more pain for the little fella!..............Take care x
Even better loooby. We are a lot of sentimental fools aren't we, but my eyes are still wet. I think I shall have to leave this thread it is too sad.

Off to bed in another 30 to 45 mins so Geordie ..bless him won't wake his Dad before 6 am .. his Dad is an old man now lol xx
ooh welshi I wish someone would and could help me from suffering but that's a different and highly debateable subject x

(Not that I need any help at the moment!)

Just remember the joy and frustration and amusement your pets have brought to you.
twinny - if you would like to read a 'moving story' LOL have a look here. Ownership of a human by a dog is truly rewarding !!!
