This news story has bothered me the most out of the ones following Japans disaster, and I was so pleased to read this.

Both dogs have been rescued and are on the mend :-)

Life is life whatever it is- there are plenty of humans I wouldn't think twice about shooting, but not many dogs if the truth be know;-)

love ya Noxxy ;-)
I have yet to meet a dog that I don't like.......
This is my final post as I believe Boo does accept I have a point. Too Nox, there are a few snowmen I would melt.
Love you too boo, it's a nice thread;-) xxx

I can imagine you would try DT, bet your a dab hand with a hairdryer...
Look, I did not set out to ruin it, Boo - I set out to make one small point which you threw back with Spades..... Apologies if you thought/think so.

I will ignore Nox's immature comment about Tw4t, though it isn't appreciated.....

Who has just taken the can as the comments there I did not see as inflammatory.....or was it off another thread?

some of mine and some of DT's
DT this is not a case of being more concerned about animals. It is a simple case of another lovely story out of a horrifying situation.
A lot of people love animals and are often better for it. It means we have a little more love for our own kind as well. Just because the lady here has chosen to point this story out does, in no way belittle the suffering of the people of Japan.
It shows the suffering of all the poor creatures who have been caught up in this terrible event.
Those dogs have/had an owner and lets hope they were not lost. Take a good look at the dogs who were involved in wars. Take a look at the men who worked with them. You will see men who truly understand the worth of the noble dog.
Never think that because some one reports on an animal story that they care nothing for humans. You could not be more misguided.
Its a miracle anything survived the tsunami/earthquake, I'm glad those dogs are safe and I hope they will be reunited.
An emotional story Boo.
I hope they find a good home together and live a long and happy life.
Not so sure those lovely dogs are safe after reading this. Wish I hadn't seen it.
