4 ickle Axolotls!
They are si cute and lovely (although not everyone may agree!).
They are soon to be bigger Axolotls but they have plenty of room for growing in the very lovely tank we have set them up!
Has anyone else got any or ever had them as a pet?
We have bought the book and I have read it cover to cover however there is some conflicting stuff between what can be read online and in the book, but they seem very happy and are currently eating there Sunday lunch!

Wolfie - most fish I know (??) will eat anything tasty that is smaller than them, which often includes their own babies.
Re. your earlier post - I had a goldfish for so many years I forgot its name - it would rest alongside my hand to allow me to lift it out of the tank and clean it.
I am extremely fond of fish and while I don't have any issue with them being killed for food, I hate to see anglers hold them out of water while they discuss how clever they have been to catch them.
Were the opposite done - hold a puppy under water while you discuss it - there would be an outcry.

Hey B00, no worries,
My OH loves fish, but they are a very big no no as tank mtes for Axolotls as Axolotls will eat anything that moves that threy can fit in their mouths!
Fish also have a tendency to think that the gills on Axolotls are blood worm and try to eat them, which doesnt apparently go down to well!
Hey Pasta, they are lovely!

No Pasta, my avatar is of Yoshio from Mario Bros.
I havee a bit of an obsession with him and have probably around 40 different Yoshi items (2 of which my lovely OH) found and got for me today! Got things from slippers and a Yoshi back pack to all kinds of cuddly Yoshis!
:-) But I can easily see why you thought it, although Yoshi is in fact a Green Dinosaur!

Blimey Toes, thats a fair old age!
How big has George grown too? Ours very from around 5 inches (Bale) and Lefty is around 7 inches.
I am certainly hoping I will be around in 20 years to see them at that kind of ripe old age, so hopefully writing them in to the will wont be needed!
:-) OH was off to make me some food, just turned round and he has not got out the front room door as he is stood watching the tank lol!
