Hi all, Just rang to book my dog in for his booster and nearly choked when she said it was £47.99!!?? and if I wanted a health check (which consists of her looking at his teeth and ears for 3 seconds) then its another £26.00!! I am sure it used to be about £28.00 just for the jab, so just wondered what everybody else pays and if it varys at all?

Thanks

My GSD has just had hers and it cost £37.00
This link should give you an idea of the average cost of vets treatments

Just taken my 2 in and it came to about £40 each, they do get a thorough check over as well included.
Last year I paid £32 and that included a health check. I think an extra £26 for a health check is disgusting, it's generally all in.

Isnt it terrible? especially as i'm guessing the injection is one set cost across the board anyway so they must just add on whatever they want. They probably do it because there aren't any other options nearby for us. Thanks for the feedback :)
Callie had her booster and health check a month ago, it cost £32.00......£47.99 sounds too expensive to me, we get the health check with the booster as a matter of course, no extra charge for this!..........
