Hello all. Don't talk about leaks. Our water went off and water company.phoned to say we were using way.too much so must have a leak after the meter. So Mr N found it in garage and has mended it. Water bill will be horrendous. It's good that they warned us though.
We are off to Valencia on Thursday until Sat night. Just a bit of shopping

Got out nice again after a dull start.

Nothing doing here except for supervising Mr S who has to have a diet of boiled chicken and mash today and nothing except Sennakot and Picolax tomorrow in readiness for them to look round what's left of his colon on Wed. He's grumpy and keeps looking longingly into the fridge.I might let him have a cheese sandwich later.

Glad you found the leak, Neti. I think we’ve got one coming from the flat upstairs, not into our flat, just by the front door. We do have a slight leak of our own that I have been planning to get fixed but the owner upstairs said she had one right above ours, so we’ll have to let her sort that out first before finding if it has caused ours.

Reminds me, Marie Lloyd used to sing a song in the music hall called She Sits Among the Cabbages and Peas. The censors ordered her to stop performing it, so she changed it to She Sits Among the Cauliflowers and Leeks, and apparently that was okay.

It's just a routine check up.He has a scan every year and they do this every other year.Hopefully they don't find anything untoward.
Yes ,get any leaks seen to pdq .Don't leave them until it costs mega money to fix:)

Afternoon all
Nice day ,very warm and sunny .All went well.They didn't find anything dodgy so it'll be three years until the next recall.The doctor who did the procedure is Spanish so they chatted about football while he was getting it done.
There's an M&S food shop in there with a sit down section so Mr S made a beeline for it before we came out.He was starving.
I bought a few treats in the shop to bring home.
Hope you're all ok .Sneezy here too,I had to take an antihistamine yesterday.

Really really glad to hear about Mr S. I took antihistamine today because I was so Sneezy and Grumpy and upped my Dwarf total to four by becoming Dopey and Sleepy as well.

I always feel so relieved when they say it's all clear.He's been clear for a long time now but it's always in the back of my mind that it could come back.

weather's been quite nice here back in the great wen, and I have received yet another free pair of bamboo socks in the mail, along with two optical appointments 6 weeks apart. They're the same appointment but they seem to have run my name through the system twice. I ran up to ask what was going on but they said they couldn't tell me because I had the wrong access code (which the appointment letter gave me). So after giving them all my details they've issued me with a new one. They didn't know who'd dumped the old one without telling me. Life in the NHS is full of little surprises.

hello all, had a much better day today, passed on the antihistamine because they make me feel as grumpy as the hayfever and instead stayed indoors. I managed to keep the door open for the dogs but not nearly so bad for me.
