Deep joy. We are back home and all's well
There was a pool on the ferry but full of kids so we sat for a few minutes but it was so windy. I could never go on a cruise I get so bored. Anyway we shopped and shopped as it's so much cheaper on the mainland and we could bung it all in the van. Hotel was lovely and friendly there was a group of Chinese tourists and they were fun!
glad you had a good time. Nothing happening here.

Glad you're home safe Neti.
Hope you got some good bargains.
Nothing doing here either .It's been quite a nice day though, warm but a bit overcast at times.
even Chinese tourists don't come here to north London, though some of them might have a look at Wembley on the way to Bicester village.
I would show you the holiday photos but are all Primark and other shops bags!
My Guardia flew in from Madrid an hour early so had to get up aa he is using my car again! Did 2 loads of washing and 3rd now on
Nice sunny day
While we were away 3 masked men with guns walked into a house. There was a 3 yr old with her parents there but apparently no injuries
Just up the road from us!
good heavens, neti, what did the gunmen want? That sounds rather scary.
Hi, just done our yearly tax return. I het so nervous as accountant seems to think i should understand it all! Anyway all sorted and we get a decent return
I also did hija's and she gets €1,650 return
I couldn't believe it!
I am lucky if I get a penny back.
yes, that's not what "tax return" means in my house, either!
Good day. Sunny but not overly warm. Mr N has cleared all the nasty weeds from the land and I have chopped, hacked and sliced offending branches from the algroba tree
I got covered in leaves and sawdust but well pleased.
oooof that's one stress off my shoulders. Shughy got his six month check up today. He is terrified at the vets and has to be muzzled and forcibly sedated to get anything done. Its horrible for everybody. Today I got the vet to visit at home and it was totally different. He treated her like an old pal, let her listen to his heart and feel his tum and was generally his normal happy self...no lead, no muzzle, just plenty of treats. My hat is off to the vet who has seen him in full eat the vet to get away terror, yet she still made a fuss of him and put her face right next to his to check him over.

Morning all
Looks like a warm day ahead and even warmer for the weekend.
That's great Woofy and well done Shughy. Shaney was like that at the vets and had to be pinned down and muzzled.
Nothing exciting doing here.I've been slowly cleaning out the pantry, which was long overdue, and sorting and cleaning kitchen cupboards.
Mixed spice with a sell by date of 2008 anybody ?
Hope you're all ok.
Hi all. Shaney Is still use it unless it's mouldy
We eat lots of very old food. If it look and smells ok then we eat it. Even old anti.bios! All too expensive here to waste.
Went to Aldi today to get like name and ginger shred! Oh and sarson's vinegar and Bisto!! Happy days. And apricots are in season so have stewed and frozen some although to be honest they didn't have much taste.
Woofy I had a hilarious moment imagining Shugly listening to Vets heart and rubbing her tummy!!! Then I re read it!!
Summer is here, so much traffic!!!
* to get lime jam*
no summer here yet, but lots of tourists around anyway. John Cleese not among them, of course.
well, I've been to CostCo for some oranges and come back with some shoes. I should never have gone there unchaperoned.
shoe marmalade? yummy!
Question Author
Neti ..I'll parcel it up and send it to you.
John Cleese is just a rude grumpy old man."Don't mention the war".
I love oranges but they didn't love me for ages ,however I was tempted by some easy peeler little Jaffa ones from Tesco and they were lovely,so sweet and juicy and gave me no problems but they don't have them any more .Out of season I expect and replaced by shoes:)
I agree about John Cleese, I never liked him as an actor or as a personality.
