Frog Spawn

Has any one seen any frog spawn in their ponds yet this year. I haven't even seen, or heard, any frogs! Normally by now they're croaking for England!

Chris.....I have two courting frogs in my pond......but they're having too much fun to produce anything I think.

My daughter in Devon has had spawn for a few weeks now and I've just had a text from a friend in a village near me (Northants) to say they got up this morning to a pond full of spawn.....so maybe just a bit late this year.

I know this is normally the time that the frogs would a wooing go, but there's absolutely no woo going on in the pond yet. Hopefully, the sun will encourage them to hop along here!

Best year i've ever known for frogspawn.....they started mid feb and are still laying now.
