I wouldn't expect a beast that size to run very fast, though smaller ones are nippier. People filming it from both sides, so they must have known it was coming. I wonder why the gator crossed the road?
If it's in a reserve park it's probably well fed.

His handbag was on the other side.
divebuddy...Yeah, as if they know me on the club circuit eh?,... when they hit the nightclubs every weekend. They probably wouldn't even recognise Pete Tong or Norman Cook ( Fatboy Slim ).......I do :-)
If I knew the reserve park was near us, would have gone to take a look.

We're going again next year, so will check it out, if he/she still there

Does look a magnificent beast though.
Looks like Jack Daniels might be missing a barrel of old No7
That thing is so old my granddad could outrun it ... and he's been dead for 35 years. Adult alligators are not fast at all.
When living in Surrey, we used to visit Beaver World and Reptile Zoo in Westerham in Kent, and they had a massive alligator, who was in the James Bond film Live and Let Die back in '71.....Roger Moore was seen using a group of alligators as stepping stones, on their backs.
His name was Big Boy.....really! .....he was in his 40's when last visited....put out in outside enclosure in summer, inside massive glass enclosure the other seasons.....Marvellous creature. I hope he's still alive..... Our kids were small and used to love going there to see him, and the beavers, reptiles, birds, and fish aquarium.
Vegans make me laugh with their phoney compassion. You don't see any concern from them about the millions of insectivora slaughtered in the production of vegetables.
Ooops, wrong thread
As i said it's easy to escape from crocodiles

Try this shorter version

I much prefer fluffy animals that you can cuddle and who will probably not eat me.
I am sure Humpy didn't plan to cause you any harm, Mikey.

I rather admire the old battlers. With the increasing protection the crocodilians enjoy in the US, they are now enjoying a longer average lifespan and as they grow continuously, there are now bigger ones to be seen.

As with all animals, your safety is in your own hands.
