To day I found what I think is a freshly regurgitated pellet.
It was a uniform orange-brown approx 2" long x 1" wide with a few black fragments inside.
My first thoughts was a tawny owl but after a quick search on google, I since found other birds also produce them, including : kestrel and jackdaw, the later of which it seems to most resembles.
Any ideas from avid birders ?

TIA

After some further searching, I'm now fairly convinced it was a crow that had cast it.
