Why Would She Choose There To Pooh ?
28 Answers
My son has a puppy about 5 months old. He is in the process of training her, although it's been a longhaul as he and partner are working. This weekend we were all at my daughter's house for a BBQ, and although she had been out, she did a pooh UPSTAIRS ON THE CARPET IN MY GRANDAUGHTER'S BEDROOM. My GD loves her and plays a lot with her, but why would she choose there ? She also peed on the patio. I was the first ( and probably last time ) she had been to their house.

The thing is young kids have accidents like this as well involving poo. My friend's three year old granddaughter pooped in her knickers whilst in the park last week - can you imagine the smell and the mess (it was loose too)! She didn't become persona non grata, nor should she have done. Why is it so different for a little pup who knows no better ?? Maybe you should be defending her Sam.
This puppy does not stand a chance of being treated properly.
It should not become persona non grata for the massive mistakes of the owners. No puppy should be taken on by full time workers.
The pups’ best interests were not considered on this visit.
Training is full time and should be done with love.

I wonder how many other poor pups bought during lockdown because it seemed a good idea while they were at home all the time are now suffering the same fate and will probably end up in rescue. I had a litter born in May, and turned down all those who did not meet my criteria of being able to provide long term companionship and training and who had not shown any interest in getting a pup from me previously.
