I have noticed that my seven year old cat is lately drinking a fair amount of water, even out of my glass, when she never used to drink any? She has dry food mixed with Felix pouches. Thanks all.

Maybe a vet visit to rule out diabetes. One of mine also drinks water from a glass but always has
`^^ Also to rule out kidney trouble.
Older cats tend to drink more
One of ours drinks water out of anything given the chance but this could be the start of diabetes or kidney problems, as previously mentioned. I am assuming your cat has access to a bowl of water all the time?
You need to take the cat to see the vet, for a blood sample to be taken to test for diabetes and/or kidney disease, both of which are common in cats of middle to older years.
If the cat does have either of these two conditions, they can be treated, but the longer they go untreated, the more harm will be done to the cat's health.
If this were my cat, I would have her at the vet's first thing in the morning.
7 is not old for a cat, a quick visit to the vet just to put your mind at ease and rule out any nasties
