how do dolpins breath(do they have a hole) and how long can they stay under water for?

They do have a blow hole, and they can take in enough air to stay under water for about fifteen minutes.

Dolphins have lungs like other mamals, and without access to air, they drown in the same way humans do.
Think of it like turning your head upward till your nose is pointing at the ceiling and then rotating your eyes and mouth down by ninty degrees and you have a basic idea of the evolution of a dolphin's skull. Essentialy their noses are on the top of their heads.
