Cornsnake?

Hi Abers, the other day while in my local pet shop I noticed a sign for a cornsnake. The sign said this person was selling the snake with the tank, heaters and all accessories. I have always wanted to get a snake and this seems like the perfect opportunity as everything is there to get me started. The sign does say that the snake is very friendly, and one year old. I was just wondering if anyone has one of these snakes or knows about them and could tell me if this would be an ok snake to start out with? I have handled snakes before, just never kept one. All answers much appreciated in advance. xx

my son had one, and apart from a couple of bearded dragons he had a few months before it, was one of the first pets he had looked after himself, so it must have been easy, he did say it was pretty boring though!! Due to unfortunate circumstances he had to give him to a friend who is a snake collector, but I think it would be fine for you.
