FAO All Frankie's supporters. I've left a message on the original thread. He's snoring away in his basket just now. Love to everyone. Schutz.

It will do him a world of good, he'll be able to relax completely now he knows where he's at (and man do cats know how to relax!) This afternoon at 15.25 (British time) as I was walking to my hairdresser's I heard a miaow and turned around to see two young girls, one of whom was carrying a big ginger cat the way you carry a baby (he didn't appreciate it!) and I was so hoping it was synchronicity at play and that you had been allowed to bring Frankie home. I'm so happy for you, and while theoretically he may not be fully out of the woods yet I just have a gut feeling he will be back with a vengeance:-) I bet you'll sleep like a log either tonight or tomorrow night
Thank you so much one and all. I'm sure it's all the loving thoughts coming Frankie's way from this thread that have really helped him.
If you read my message on the original thread you will see that we're quite some way from being completely out of the wood yet. I'll make sure he gets all the cuddles which have been sent him, when he's up to it. At present I can only gently stroke his head, and he seems to still be in a world of his own. I can't pick him up as it's too painful for him. He's being pretty good about being hand fed, so hopefully his strength will begin to return soon. It sad that he looks such a mess at the moment, a bare patch on his leg where the lines went in, a bare patch on his side where the shot went in, and all his tummy is shaved with a great big scar down the middle. But he's home at that's all that matters for now. He's being really good about the four tablets at a time that he has to have twice a day. I think a good sleep tonight will do us both good. He is in a basket on the landing with a litter tray in the bathroom, to give him some peace away from the other two cats, who are still wondering what's going on. I can't tell you how much it has meant that you have all been there for Frankie and me when we needed it most. Much love to everyone. Schutz.
