Is the cat just trying to get the dog out of the way for the dog's own protection, do you think? They seem friendly enough otherwise - the dog doesn't seem to mind, and the cat doesn't seem aggressive once it gets off the Roomba.

Your avatar is so gay Jude - I couldn't think of a better word, my vocabulary may be slightly dated - I mean the old fashioned gay like in The Gay Divorcee with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. *makes effort not to crack jokes about grounds for divorce - aaaaand fails* Jude I could comment on your son's clip as I have a YouTube account too (solely for making playlists for my own use - but I *could* get myself a harmonica and start producing videos ha ha) but I sort of started writing a comment in my head and it went "Hi, I'm a friend of your Mum's" and so on and I think I might spoil his image if you see what I mean. I mean just imagine if Mick Jagger's Mum's friends wrote comments on YouTube, nah, better not:) "Hi Mick, I'm a friend of your Mum's" - well you hear how that sounds;-)

Have now seen some of Eurovision with Graham Norton and he's so awful - although the actual prog was much better and funnier than the one I saw!

Thanks for the list for pets, but I never give "unnatural" food to any of my pets. Don't believe in doggy chox or anything like that. I'm surprised that pork wasn't mentioned for cats as it isn't good, but then my cats roam the land and eat whatever they find, even little bones, but as they were both feral they seemed to get used to it.

Morning all. Thanks Neti and Kit for your comments about my son. I am sure he appreciates any remarks but as you say as long as it doesn't say "I know your MUM". If anyone else wouild like to see his efforts then look for Steadmeister on YouTube. He has done Going to Philladelphia, Fast Car, and America. I accept it wont be to everybody's taste but I love it but then I would wouldn't I.
Great photo Lottie what is your cat named. My friend has 4 cats, Ruby Tom Tigger and one I can't remember (I do know it but it just wont come)lol.

Morning...won't be around long, (haha I mean on here but you never know) I don't feel at all well. Had a terrible sudden dizzy fit yesterday, heart thumping, left me with a pounding head & terrible weakness, aching chest & legs. I still feel wiped out - like when I've had a migraine. Now oddly after searching on here shaney & neti's names came up in the threads with thyroid probs....do my symptoms sound the same girls?

I finally managed to catch the blackbirds on camera yesterday...not the best pic but you can see one dad b'bird on the windowsill & another waiting on the bench - sometimes there's a queue! They sit on there & whistle & stare at me til I put the raisins out. I didn't realise there was a sparrow on the birdbath :o)

Poor Robi, please take it easy. As for Thyroid, well it's not the same as mine else you would be FAT! Could be BP, I get very dizzy and uncordinated and confused when mine is high. As soon as you feel better get down to the doctors, I think it would be for the best.

haha, lol neti, those bags with compost in were moved off the patio when my son came to jet wash it. As they're going to be emptied into planters it didn't seem worth moving them back. The paint pot(s) are opened & drying out, that way you're allowed to put them in the bin. (an inch left in the bottom of them, ain't there always?)
I will see the doc but I know he'll send me traipsing off to the new hospital...oh buffer it.

hello all, Robi, your garden looks lovely. Mine still looks like a tip, but the grass is coming back, we reckon we might returf next year. The boys don't dig up plants any more but the charge around out there and pound the grass into submission like an elephants ballroom (Toomai of the Elephants, Kipling)
Robi, your symptoms sound like a panic attack or a hot flush..hope you get some sense from the doc.
My eruptions are, I am pretty sure, mozzy bites, annoying but not fatal.
Dh is still sleeping for England and the diet has improved no end :-)

PS there seems to be some discussion about your list, Kit. Garlic is recomended as a natural anti flea treatment on some other websites. Shughy can't have pork, it makes his allergy worse

Hi folks, especially Robbi. I was just going to add that your 'turn' might well have been a panic attack which can make you feel totally washed out afterwards, (and don't I know it). Woofy beat me too it. But see a doctor anyway.
