Is the cat just trying to get the dog out of the way for the dog's own protection, do you think? They seem friendly enough otherwise - the dog doesn't seem to mind, and the cat doesn't seem aggressive once it gets off the Roomba.

I'm not one to speak, I absolutely hate hospitals and only go there when the bystanders call an ambulance ha ha. So I do understand your reluctance *tries to push the right button* but your boys would want you to go wouldn't they *there*.
Woofy I don't think you're crazy - I even save those what-are-they-called, mini flies that surround your potted plants when you've watered them too freely, I even save those when they try to drown themselves in my coffee.
Thanks guys for contributing to my thread in Pets. There's an Answer Removed, if any of you saw what/who please email me as I'd really like to know!

Now who sounds like smeone's mother Sweedie?!! :o)
Actually I wouldn't mind going at all if they got on with it. Unless (as you say) you're whisked off in an ambulance, in which case they run a whole list of tests toot sweet, they drag it out so. 'Come back in x weeks for this test'....'wait 2 weeks for results'...'come back for more tests in another x weeks'...If it's a 'no big deal' to start with it's a damned sight worse by the time you've spent months & a small fortune to-ing and fro-ing.
I liked the song you posted btw...video was good until the end, haha

Robi I've given that vid a load of different interpretations so I don't know whether I like the The End or not...! :D / I believe that many "weird bodily incidents" are actually down to bulging or herniated discs but it's never discovered cos it adjusts itself/heals - so whether you go or don't go, try not to worry too much about it. You have so much healing in your history - your body clearly knows what it's doing! :)

Oh that's good to know Kit,but what a dreadful debacle and loss of life.
I may be sticking my neck out here but my sympathies are with the Palestinians .It would be the same as someone walking into my home and saying "sod off "this is mine now .
Please don't mention mozzies .They were the cause of my leg .Horrible things .When we lived in the Netherlands they were as big as elephants and I had awful swollen arms once and had to have antibiotic injections.
I used to spend ages swatting at them and they used to be full of blood and night times that bzzzzzzz......We had mozzie nets everywhere .
Horse flies are another thing that got me once and I ended up with swollen arms ..Anything that stings loves me .I dread being bitten after the leg fiasco .
Anyway it's been a dull day here and we had a sea fog all night and the foghorn blasting .
Glad you're feeling better Robinia .Just take care .xx
Anyone with spots take heart .I suffered with this for years .

I love animals ...but this ruddy killer next door who has ruined the pleasure of feeding the birds and cr@ps all over my garden is really annoying .
This morning he was on the roof of the sun room chasing after the birds and he literally climbs in the trees and up the ivy fence after them .He decimated a blackbirds nest last year and all the poor little fledglings were dead .
Then I had to wring a wood pigeons neck because it had broken it's wings and bitten into the poor thing . It's a swine .I've even turned the hose on him but it makes no difference ,he's as hard as nails .Since he moved in I sweep up dead birds on a regular basis :(

Oh Shaney that's awful.
1) About you skin disorder. Expecially if it was on your face and neck How did you get rid of it. did you have to have medication. I had psoriosis in my hair and all over my body but not on my face - luckily. when I was 12 a specialist suggested I had my tonsils and adenoids done and would you believe the psoriosis went. Then it returned on my elbows and knees but not for long and now I don't get it anywhere except very slightly on my hair line but you can't see it under my fringe.
2) That awful moggie next door. People may say it is natures way but that is terrible. I was worried about the cat that kept coming into my garden but I haven't seen it for a while so I don't know what it's doing. I was bothered that it had had one of the baby blackbirds but I don't know.
Robi what are we going tp do with you. You are such a stalwart. Get me with a big word at this time of day. I hope it means what I think it means. (steadfast and strong I hope). That's the impression I get of you. Get to the Drs. if you don't feel any better. Look after yourself.

Neti ,how can you possibly be invisible :) Mind you you might be soon with this weight loss.Well done though.I lost a lot of weight after they sorted me out with the thyroid meds but I seem to have put some of it on again :) No doubt when I see the rheumy man I'll be told to lose it all over again :))
I've just watched Luther and was on edge of seat .I won't spoil it for it but it was really ,really brilliant .You'll welling up at the end,it was so sad and the last one is next week .
I got that in my late twenties Jude and it went on for years .Was on tetracycline for a long time and varous potions and lotions and had skin biopsies.
Nobody knew what it was until my GP ,when we lived in London ,sent me to St Georges in Tooting to the dept of Tropical Medicine and they found out what it was. They did think at one stage that I had Lupus because it was like the butterfly rash across my face .
Anyway they wanted to treat with me drugs they use for leprosy but she advised me not to take them.
To cut a long story sideways when this rheumatoid thing hit me it started to clear up. I get the odd bumpy bit now and again, mostly on my forehead but I've become very adept at covering it up with make up and a fringe :) .
