Is the cat just trying to get the dog out of the way for the dog's own protection, do you think? They seem friendly enough otherwise - the dog doesn't seem to mind, and the cat doesn't seem aggressive once it gets off the Roomba.

Oh gosh, Lottie and jude have also changed aviators.!
I know, it's like psychedelic man. But I love the little mice.

Sun is shining here, could be a nice day. Still no birds on the feeder though. We had it on the washing line originally and they loved it, then hung it on the side of the shed where the feed went down but we couldn't actually see the birds from the house, so we'e hung it on a pole near the window (above the new water drainage tank) but so far hardly any birds. Do they take a while to locate these things? Is there anything we can do to encourage them?
Cheer up possums, your summer is officially starting today with lots of lully weather, enjoy!
June 1 is the first day of the hurricane season. I remember being on a small boat in the Caribbean on June 1... we could see a storm out at sea, heading toward us... then the boat's engine cut out. Took him ages to fix, but we got to shore in time. Just a leetle bit scary there for a while, though.
Fab weather folks.
blimey lottie looks like my old teacher...kips gone all foxy...anybody been watching the genius of britain.magic series. On top of the hills round ere we get giant horse flys in hot weather.Ive grown for the first time ever basle on my window sill, its really bushy and tastes lovely.

Morning all...love the new aviators!
Our local killer cat seems to have disappeared, no one's seen it for ages...maybe it ate one too many birds. Oh dear, quel dommage. Mind you we could do with somthing to remove some of the blooming huge mob of feral pigeons that clear the food in a nano second. Don't worry jno, I expect your birds will soon visit regularly once you stop playing find the feeders with them.

Oh very nice Vinny but what are you growing on the back windowsill, that's what I want to know? S'posh where you live intit?... <obviously charges too much for his bufferin'>... I don't think I'd cope with dragging me trolley up those hills though, they'd have to install a moving pavement.

Spoke too soon about feeling better but I don't want to go on about it, maybe if I ignore myself I'll go away.
yes, there's a LBJ on the feeder now - maybe a sparrow, I haven't seen any for years as there was a sparrowhawk living down the street but apparently it's vanished so maybe now the mice can play.

note to Kit: LBJ: twitcher talk for 'little brown jobbie'.
twitcher: birdwatcher.
mmm, I thought lbj's are something you need to avoid on the pavement
ha no Robbie those are bbj's
the latest episode in the OH saga is that he was given a different med for his gout because it came back again as soon as the steroids ended and it has upset his stomach big time ...not going into the gory details here but the poor love can't keep anything down again so back to the doc this afternoon. As soon as I say his name now, they just find him an appointment...its fame of a sort but you don't want it.
I cannot believe how well behaved the dogs are being...I guess they'll make up for it but for now i am grateful. Gotta clean house to as if DH is still sick this afternoon, the doc may visit here instead of DH sitting in the doctors waiting room with a bucket.
Vinny your basil is lovely. I buy pots from the supermarket just to perfume the kitchen, although i do use a bit.
They be gerainiums(redish)robi. The jersey peeps said they start flowering in june.Aww thanks woofy,If im in a supermarket I stand there sniffing all the basil leafs..love them.I use to grow corriander(amongst other things in the garden):O)but the plants really pong.!

Oi Vincent!! get rid of those!! Tell him Sweedie, it's your thread!

it'll be radiating pain round your muscles neti...
What? Vinny's pants?
No ya back! tut

Vinny's pants will be radiating pain around his neck if I have to look at them for the next however-many tedious football weeks...I saw woofy somewhere on AB use the words comatose inducing (or sommink similar) in ref to the footy, hahahahaha. It made me laugh....sorry fans.
*sorry should have read comatose or coma-inducing...oh, I dunno, but it was funny

Afternoon possies and mossies, I clicked on a link I shouldn't have clicked on so if you all start receiving any weird(er than usual) emails and things from me, it's from my hacker. Or from my fox. Glad you like him, he's one of my (many) power animals. (Animal spirit guides are important to me.) If I could only get him to lay off the fags he'd be perfect:) I love all your avatars too!

Guess you just proved my point Neti, about lotsa weird symptoms actually stemming from the back. And don't I know all about it. Get well soon, and Mr Woofy too, and Robi to, and... *voice-fade while still naming biddies*

Viiinnnyyyy! Get out of those pants at once! (There, Robi, I told him.) You live in the valley rather than on the hills don't you? Lovely basil. I like basil and parsley and this stuff unknown to my dictionary http://i45.tinypic.com/2ai311u.jpg BTW is there a new cat next door or is it the one you posted a long time ago who was watching you when you were working on your shed? I've still got him in my archives:)

"Little brown job", that's funny jno, hadn't heard it before. Telly was running an old documentary about Prince Charles's mistresses and somebody said "when one was particularly pregnant he would go to the other" - I just love the way you British turn a phrase. "Particularly pregnant..." / Is your Confuse-A-Bird firm inspired by Monty Python's Confuse-A-Cat ha ha ha...
Ive changed me advocaat again...england boobs....hehe..!(:O)
not that cat kip.Its a massive thing, very hairy its about 4 foot long and chases all the other cats.I'll try to take a piccy.
