I'm thinking about getting a drinking fountain for the mog. Does anybody have any recommendations as to which would be the best to get. TIA

Thanks, Redcrs. I've been dithering between that one & another which has a dome but I think I shall go with your recommendation.
How cool is that?! I might get one for my cat!
Will it stop my cat walking past his fresh water bowl to drink out of the toilet?
probably ummm :)

my cats love theirs and it keeps the water from stagnating as well as putting it at a more comfortable height for them to drink from.
To stop him drinking out of the toilet (he leaves dirty footprints everywhere) I have to fill up a glass and leave it on the side. He'll happily drink out of that. I still try him with a bowl though....no luck.
most animals prefer natural water than tap.
Our cat used to prefer slightly stagnant water to fresh so don't think he'd have bothered with the fountain!
Colin cat never drinks from his bowl, it's either the bathroom tap or my glass, if I put it on the floor!

I might try this :o)
Colin!! Haha, that's my dads name! Yeah Bruno used to drink from my glass so would have to have his own sitting around the house in various places!
I bought a fountain for my last cat and it was really quite noisy. Is this one pretty quiet?

Frankie drips from a dripping tap in the kitchen and a leaking stop-cock thing in the bathroom - he likes drinking out of the bath tap too but if he gets wet he isn't a very happy cat.

Princess Merlin the Stupid uses the bowl of water though.
So it's not just Brian then.....think I'll stick to the glass.
sorry Sophie ;o)

PS - I once knew a cat called Sophie!
Yeah Sophie seems quite a popular name for cats and dogs. I think people names (especially blokes names) for pets are rather funny, our new Jack Russel puppy is called Geoff!

Smoke will only drink from a glass next to my bed or from any filthy stagnant puddle he can find so I'm hoping this will improve his manners.
